SHREDmill Sled

I have spent over twenty-years pursuing my passion of helping athletes achieve success. It has always been a dream of mine to work in Sports Performance and I am truly blessed that I have always been able to do that. Over the last twenty-two years I have worked in the public and private sectors at the youth, high school and collegiate levels. Hands down running my own business, developing relationships and delivering regular has been the most impactful.

My most important "athlete" is my daughter nine year old daughter Hadley. She loves to swim, cheer and tumble. Most recently she has started training with the SHREDmill and just reached 10mph in Gear 4. I also have a three year old dog Deuce, a cat named Cinnamon. In my free time I like to hike and travel with my girlfriend Laura.

Since 2011, McClure Sports trained teams and individuals have competed for SEVENTEEEN State Championships in North Carolina and Georgia, winning THIRTEEN titles in SEVEN separate sports. During this time, I have been privileged to work with a number of teams and individuals who have achieved a high level of success, including but not limited to:

  1. 2011 & 2012 Porter Ridge HS Football- NCHSAA 4A State Championship Runners-Up

  2. 2012 Porter Ridge HS Softball- NCHSAA 4A State Champions, Nationally Ranked

  3. 2012 Weddington HS Baseball- NCHSAA 3A State Champions

Since May of 2022, I have help build SHREDmill alongside my friend and mentor, Tony Villani as the Customer Support Manager. Using my unique experience as a SHREDmill Owner in the High School and Private facility setting since 2018, I am uniquely qualified to teach coaches and trainers how to use the hardware and software.

In June of 2018, I moved back to Georgia to take the Head Strength & Speed Coach position at Winder Barrow High School working with football. This was a tough four years with lots of adversity personally and professionally but I am glad for the relationships I made with a number of athletes including Jacob Merrifield, Brianna Bailey and Carson Jackson. Brianna Bailey won the 2019 GHSA 6A State Pole Vault State Championship by a whopping one-foot over 2nd Place. It was at Winder Barrow where I started my journey with SHREDmill.

Prior to creating McClure Sports, I spent three years with SpeedTracs in Atlanta where I rose through the ranks to ultimately fill the role of Director of Training and head the training department.  My years of service with SpeedTracs allowed me the opportunity to help design and distribute the first two SpeedStation models and develop the SpeedStation team training program.

I began working with Tony Villani and XPE Sports in 2008 in Roswell, Georgia and am forever grateful for his support, knowledge and passion for training improvement and evolution. Over the course of my time in Roswell, I was honored to train alongside Hines Ward, Jamal Lewis, Takeo Spikes and Osi Umenyiora. Additionally, I have been privileged to see Tony Villani produce twenty-nine 1st Round NFL Draft Picks since 2006 including Eric Berry, Stephone Gilmore and Joey Bosa.

Every day I saw firsthand, NFL All-Pro’s, Super Bowl winners and Most Valuable Players describe in detail how the XPE Sports program had improved, elevated and furthered their playing careers. During my time at XPE Sports in the role of Director of Outside Training, I could leverage my time at NC State University to develop relationships with Georgia High School football coaches. Those relationships were instrumental in the development of the SpeedStation on-campus training business. I also expanded the outside training business to include Walton High School, Roswell High School, Centennial High School, Blessed Trinity School and Lassiter High School, where the Boy’s and Girl’s Lacrosse teams were each able to reach the 2010 Georgia AAAAA State Finals.

I began my professional career at NC State University on Head Football Coach Chuck Amato’s staff, where I spent seven years in the strength and conditioning department. I started as an intern in the summer of 2001 fulfilling my degree requirement for Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management.

I spent the next three years as a graduate assistant coach from 2002-2004, where I received my Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration in 2005, before spending my final two years as an Assistant Strength Coach working with football and wrestling. During my seven years on staff, I was privileged to help prepare four 1st Round NFL Draft Picks, including Phillip Rivers in 2004 and Mario Williams in 2006.
